Abstract: Schools have a strategic role in forming quality human resources, which must be supported by accountable and transparent financial management, including in the tax aspect. However, in practice, there is still limited understanding of teachers and school treasurers regarding tax obligations, especially regarding the management of BOS funds and the use of the digital tax system. Based on these conditions, a team of lecturers from the Postgraduate School of Lancang Kuning University (Unilak) carried out Community Service activities in the form of Tax Training for teachers and treasurers of MI Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru (MI MUDA).

This activity aims to increase participants' competency in understanding school tax obligations as well as technical skills in using the Coretax DJP-based digital taxation system, including registration and activation of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a tax identity, as well as the use of the e-Bupot and e-Invoice applications. Implementation methods include interactive lectures, discussions, direct practice, and technical assistance. The results of the evaluation of 14 participants showed a significant increase in understanding after the activity, marked by an increase in the participants' ability to understand and apply school tax administration and reporting. This activity makes a real contribution in supporting the implementation of accountable, transparent and professional Good School Governance in partner schools.

Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti memiliki potensi sagu yang besar, namun pemanfaatannya sebagai produk pangan modern masih menghadapi kendala berupa rendahnya kapasitas produksi, belum bakunya proses, dan mutu produk yang belum konsisten. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan mutu produksi beras analog berbasis sagu pada UMKM Tiga Putra melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan, instalasi dan commissioning mesin beras analog BRS-50A, pelatihan teknis dan nonteknis, pendampingan produksi, observasi, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas produksi meningkat dari sekitar ±1 kg/jam menjadi ±20-30 kg/jam dan mendekati target 20-35 kg/jam. Selain itu, penerapan SOP produksi mampu meningkatkan konsistensi mutu, ditandai dengan kadar air produk pada kisaran 11-13%, bentuk granula yang lebih seragam, dan mutu fisik yang layak sebagai beras konsumsi. Program ini juga meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengoperasikan mesin, menerapkan pengendalian mutu, dan mengelola proses produksi secara lebih mandiri. PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PROGRAM LITERASI KEUANGAN EDUKASI INVESTASI SYARIAH BERSAMA PEGADAIAN SYARIAH DI PEKANBARU

This Community Service Program (CSP) aims to enhance Islamic financial literacy and investment competencies through an experiential learning approach. The program was implemented through a collaborative partnership between STIE Riau and Pegadaian Syariah involving participants from the community and academic environment. The implementation methods included educational sessions, product socialization, hands-on practice using the Pegadaian Syariah digital application, and interactive discussions on Islamic investment products, particularly Gold Savings and Sharia Rahn contracts. Program evaluation was conducted through participatory observation, assessment of conceptual understanding, and measurement of participants’ practical skills. The results indicate a high level of participant engagement, a significant improvement in digital application usage competence, and a strong understanding of Sharia-compliant investment mechanisms. In addition, participants demonstrated high interest and enthusiasm toward the learning materials delivered. These findings suggest that the experiential learning-based approach and campus–industry collaboration are effective in strengthening Islamic financial literacy and reshaping public perceptions of Pegadaian Syariah as an inclusive and modern Islamic investment platform. This program can serve as a replicable model for community-based Islamic financial education initiatives.

Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province, has significant tourism potential; however, its digital promotion remains underdeveloped. This Community Service (PkM) program was conducted through a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) workshop entitled “Promoting the Wonderful Indonesia Brand Through Social Media,” organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of the Meranti Islands Regency on May 9, 2026. The program involved 75 participants, including tourism entrepreneurs, homestay managers, tour guides, souvenir artisans, culinary business owners, and local government representatives. The activities combined interactive lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on workshops. The training covered digital tourism marketing strategies, effective use of social media platforms, smartphone-based content creation, social media analytics, and the development of a 30-day promotional action plan based on local tourism potential. Evaluation results indicated a 95% participant satisfaction rate and an 85% improvement in digital marketing knowledge. Participants also committed to consistently producing tourism promotional content, thereby strengthening destination branding and enhancing regional tourism competitiveness

Survey awal yang dilakukan tim mengidentifikasi bahwa salah satu potensi yang dapat digali dan diberdayakan adalah pengelolaan sampah organik rumah tangga dan sampah daun kering. Banyak pohon di lingkungan menghasilkan daun kering yang hanya menjadi tumpukan sampah tanpa manfaat, bahkan sering dibakar sehingga mencemari udara dan menyumbang emisi karbon. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok peduli lingkungan Ibu-ibu PKK Kelurahan Tangkerang Tengah dalam mengolah limbah organik rumah tangga menjadi kompos. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pembekalan materi, praktik pembuatan kompos, serta monitoring dan pendampingan untuk keberlanjutan program. Hasil evaluasi kuesioner menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 100% dalam cara membuat kompos, dan 100% peserta menyatakan kegiatan ini bermanfaat. Kegiatan ini mendukung prinsip 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) serta menciptakan perubahan perilaku masyarakat menuju pengelolaan sampah yang ramah lingkungan dan bernilai ekonomi.

Micro, small, and medium enterprises in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, still face limitations in market reach, customer data recording, and focused marketing communication. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen customer management capacity through practical Customer Relationship Management training aligned with the MSME context. The partner was the MSME group of Pandau Jaya Village, administratively consisting of 30 members. The activity was conducted on 5 December 2025 using a participatory approach through coordination, material delivery, discussion, case studies, customer record practice, and reflection. Evaluation was descriptive and based on participant engagement, discussion responses, and participants ability to identify customer management needs. The results show that participants began to understand CRM as a business strategy rather than merely an application. Participants were also able to identify potential customers, design more focused communication, and use digital media as a customer relationship channel. The program recommends the 4C CRM model: customer record, customer classification, communication plan, and continuous evaluation as a feasible starting point for MSMEs

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan mahasiswa Orang Asli di Pahang, Malaysia, yang menghadapi krisis identitas dan asimilasi budaya akibat modernisasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 12–13 Februari 2026 bekerja sama dengan UMPSA dan UCYP. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory learning dan experiential learning melalui lokakarya tematik: penguatan tauhid ("Mengenal Diri, Menemukan Ilahi" dan "Makna Aqidah") serta etika mu'amalah sosial dan digital. Partisipasi mencapai 100% (34 mahasiswa hadir penuh). Hasil evaluasi mitra menunjukkan tingkat "Strongly Agree" pada seluruh aspek (kesesuaian materi, penyampaian, peningkatan kapasitas, kepuasan keseluruhan). The implementation of the Closed Rotary Lemang Baking Machine at Rumah Lemang MSME in Pekanbaru improved burning time efficiency by 50%–62.5% per batch. However, field evaluation revealed a critical capacity gap: machine capacity (10 bamboo/batch) was significantly lower than traditional production capacity (40 bamboo/batch), resulting in lower actual throughput (6–7 bamboo/hour vs. 10–13 bamboo/hour) and reduced daily output (20–30 vs. 40 bamboo). This study analyzed this gap through throughput analysis and identified second-generation machine requirements using Voice of Customer (VoC). Methods included in-depth interviews with the MSME owner, production performance measurement, and comparative gap analysis. VoC results identified an ideal capacity of 50 bamboo/batch, with the owner already planning an independent modification as an indication of active technology adoption. This study recommends an iterative development approach with modular second-generation machine specifications grounded in real user needs.

Pengabdian masyarakat merupakan suatu proses edukasi kepada masyarakat
dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki kehidupan masyarakat ataupun lingkungan
sekitarnya. Saat ini kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat juga menjadi upaya untuk
meningkatkan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Selain itu, ibu-ibu di Desa Pandau
Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu pada umumnya masih memiliki sangat banyak waktu luang
setelah mereka selesai mengerjakan pekerjaan rutin rumah tangga. Melalui kegiatan
pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang merupakan salah satu kegiatan tri dharma
perguruan tinggi, maka diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi untuk membantu
memberikan ilmu kepada masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu Desa Pandau Jaya, Kecamatan
Siak Hulu. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan keterampilan ibuibu tersebut adalah dengan melalui peningkatan pembuatan rolade chicken frozen. Setelah
proses pembuatan rolade chicken frozen, langkah berikut untuk meningkatkan nilai dari
produk sehingga bisa meningkatkan usaha ekonomi kreatif. Target yang ingin dicapai

Saloloang Village in Penajam District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency has micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that play an important role in supporting the local community’s economy. MSME actors still face challenges in improving business competitiveness, particularly in terms of business legality and strengthening visual brand identity. This community service program through the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) activity aims to improve MSME competitiveness through strengthening business legality and marketing innovation based on logo creation. The method used is a participatory descriptive approach through MSME surveys, coordination visits with the village administration, and the implementation of socialization activities for business actors. The socialization activities provide an understanding of the importance of business legality and the procedures for registering a Business Identification Number through the Online Single Submission system. The socialization activities also provide explanations regarding the concept of logos, the functions of logos, and the elements of effective logos as visual product identities. The results of the activity show an increase in MSME actors’ understanding of the importance of business legality ownership as a basis for legal protection and business development. Participants also understand the role of logos as visual identities that can strengthen product image and support promotional strategies. The findings indicate that strengthening business legality and developing visual branding can serve as strategic steps to improve MSME competitiveness in a sustainable manner

Abstract: Wakaf merupakan instrumen filantropi Islam yang potensial dalam mendukung pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi umat. Sayangnya, wakaf masih dipersepsikan sebagai amalan tradisional yang hanya dapat dilakukan oleh kalangan tertentu, sehingga partisipasi masyarakat luas masih rendah. Rendahnya literasi wakaf dan sempitnya pemahaman tentang bentuk wakaf modern, seperti wakaf uang, menjadi hambatan utama. Program ini bertujuan menjadikan wakaf sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup (lifestyle) masyarakat melalui pendekatan edukatif dan kreatif. Kegiatan mencakup kampanye media sosial, pelatihan wakaf praktis, dan kerja sama dengan lembaga wakaf resmi. EMPOWERING INDIGENOUS STUDENTS THROUGH DIGITAL SKILLS AND CROSS-CULTURAL LITERACY: A COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM IN MALAYSIA

This community service program aimed to empower Orang Asli (indigenous) students in Pahang, Malaysia, by enhancing their digital literacy and cross-cultural competencies. The program addressed the digital divide faced by indigenous students in higher education. A one-day intensive bootcamp was conducted on February 13, 2026, involving 30 participants from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP). The methods included hands-on training on basic productivity software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office), digital safety education, and career platform introduction. Partner satisfaction surveys showed 100% "Strongly Agree" responses on material relevance, delivery, capacity building, and program sustainability. The program successfully increased participants' digital confidence and basic skills. Partners explicitly recommended continuation and advanced software training. Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional, namun sering kali menghadapi kendala dalam pencatatan keuangan, khususnya penentuan Harga Pokok Penjualan (HPP). Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM di Desa Pandau Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu, dalam menyusun HPP secara akurat guna mendongkrak profitabilitas dan daya saing pasar. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi edukatif, pemaparan materi, simulasi perhitungan mandiri, serta sesi diskusi interaktif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran dan kemampuan teknis peserta dalam mengidentifikasi komponen biaya produksi (biaya bahan baku, tenaga kerja langsung, dan overhead pabrik). This community service program aims to improve human resource management (HRM) capabilities and product marketing of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) towards digitalization in Desa Pongkai Koto Kampar. The main problems faced by MSME actors in the village include limited understanding of HR management, lack of utilization of digital technology, and product marketing that is still carried out conventionally. The implementation methods of the program were conducted through socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation for MSME actors. The materials provided included effective HR management, digital marketing strategies, the use of social media, and the utilization of marketplaces as promotional and product sales media. The results of the program showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in managing their businesses more professionally and adaptively to technological developments. In addition, MSME actors began utilizing digital platforms to expand their product marketing reach, thereby increasing business competitiveness. Therefore, this program is expected to encourage sustainable digital transformation of MSMEs in Desa Pongkai Koto Kampar and support the improvement of the village community’s economy

IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM EDUKASI KEUANGAN SYARIAH BAGI GURU DAN MAHASISWA DI PEKANBARU

This study implemented the modified Indonesian Community Empowerment Model (MPMI-S) to enhance Sharia financial literacy among teachers and students in Pekanbaru. The collaborative program between STIE Riau and Pegadaian Syariah Cabang Sudirman involved 30 teachers and 150 students, using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Conducted in three learning cycles, it focused on three pillars: local capacity strengthening, collaborative mentoring, and community-driven sustainability. Results show effective synergy, with the partnership evolving from formal cooperation into an organic collaboration, supported by intensive communication and complementary roles. Integrating Sharia values into educational materials increased program relevance, which significantly improved participants' understanding and led to the formation of the independent Pekanbaru Sharia Investment Community. Thus, the MPMI-S model serves as an effective and contextual framework for sustainable Sharia financial education.

This community service program was implemented through mentoring for the master plan of the Darul Khair Islamic Boarding School in Pekanbaru, Tenayan Raya, located on Jalan Badak Ujung, Bencag Lesung, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This mentoring program is expected to ensure the optimal development and organization of the Islamic boarding school environment. Through this program, it is hoped that the management of the Darul Khair Islamic Boarding School in Pekanbaru will be assisted in improving the school's environment. The community service program targeted the Darul Khair Islamic Boarding School in Pekanbaru, Tenayan Raya. The program involved a field survey to assess the condition of the school, followed by the design of the master plan and discussions with partners to finalize the design. The training program demonstrated that the Darul Khair Islamic Boarding School has been instrumental in improving the school's environment.

EDUKASI PASAR MODAL KOLABORATIF: STRATEGI PENINGKATAN LITERASI KEUANGAN DAN MINAT INVESTASI RASIONAL PADA GENERASI MILENIAL

This community service activity aims to enhance capital market financial literacy and rational investment interest among the millennial generation through a campus-industry collaborative education model. The program was conducted as a hands-on workshop using the lesson study approach (Plan-Do-See), involving 120 STIE Riau students and Korean Investment & Securities Indonesia (IKISI). Data collection employed pre-test and post-test, participant observation, and in-depth interviews. Results show significant improvement in understanding of capital market concepts (from 32% to 84%), fundamental analysis skills (from 18% to 72%), and use of digital platforms (from 24% to 76%). Academic-practitioner collaboration successfully built self-confidence and rational investment intention. This program recommends the development of tiered training, formation of investment learning communities, and integration of practical materials into the curriculum to sustain youth financial literacy improvement.

SOSIALISASI DAN STUDI BANDING ENTREPRENEUR BERBASIS SAWIT PADA PEMBIBITAN SAWIT APKASINDO DI PEKANBARU

Palm oil is one of the leading commodities that significantly contributes to the economy of Riau Province. However, many community members and business actors still lack understanding regarding entrepreneurship opportunities in the palm oil sector, particularly in seedling businesses. This community service program aimed to improve participants’ knowledge, insights, and motivation regarding palm oil-based entrepreneurship through socialization and benchmarking activities at the APKASINDO palm oil nursery center in Pekanbaru. The methods used included counseling, interactive discussions, field observations, and benchmarking studies. Participants consisted of palm oil farmers, nursery business actors, APKASINDO administrators, and university students. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of palm oil nursery business opportunities, business management, superior seed marketing, and agribusiness development strategies. The program also provided direct learning experiences regarding professional nursery management practices. This activity is expected to encourage the emergence of new entrepreneurs in the sustainable and competitive palm oil sector.

Workshop Live Streaming Menggunakan OBS Untuk MGMP TIK Pekanbaru

OBS is open-source software that needs to be introduced to the community, particularly to organizations and companies with a high demand for live streaming communication. This needs to be introduced and optimized because the infrastructure is generally already available and running well and is almost evenly distributed among certain organizations, both companies and high schools. OBS can be applied for streaming communication purposes on Internet-based networks. This activity is a PkM, which is a collaboration between Polytechnic Caltex Riau and the Information and Communication Technology Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP TIK) in Pekanbaru and Kampar, Riau. Live Streaming Workshop/training using OBS to introduce and deepen the material for ICT teachers to teach multimedia network material, streaming technology. For this purpose, training and evaluation were conducted before and after the workshop on teachers' knowledge of live streaming. Prior to the workshop, approximately 79% understood the material, After being introduced to the participants and trying out the practice, results showed that approximately 100% found it easy to understand and could be applied to support multimedia network practical work.

Development of Yasin Assembly Room as a Religious Media in the Community , This PKM activity is based on the problem faced by Partners, namely the mothers of the Yasin assembly in Mundam Village, Medang Kampai District, Dumai City, that this assembly is still perceived as a gathering place to meet each other in order to share information, so that some mothers feel that the impact is not too significant as a non-formal forum for studying religion. The activity was carried out in the form of Islamic Communication development in increasing Islamic insight skills for mothers in utilizing religious assemblies. The activity was carried out for the mothers of the Yasin assembly in Mundam Village, Medang Kampai District, Dumai City, lasted for approximately 3 hours, attended by 112 mothers who were members of the Yasin assembly , located in the mushalla Nurul Huda. The results of this activity provide assistance in the form of delivering material on Islamic values, and establishing a Yasin assembly space as a religious medium. The results obtained are able to form Islamic integrity based on behavior and noble morals, based on the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad, Shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, fathonah. Strengthening the values of communication and Islamic brotherhood: Building solidarity and values of togetherness between the administrators and members of the Yasin assembly, living together, helping each other and working together. As well as having a logical understanding, having religious knowledge, far from traits, revenge, envy, and slander.

Abstract: Low levels of public knowledge and awareness regarding clean and healthy living practices lead to high rates of illness and a decline in quality of life. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve public knowledge about clean and healthy living practices. The objective of this community service program is to enhance public knowledge regarding clean and healthy living practices. The program was implemented in Kuala Terusan Village, Pangkalan Kerinci Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The methods used were education on clean and healthy living practices and training on proper handwashing techniques in accordance with World Health Organization standards. An evaluation of the community’s knowledge level was conducted by comparing pre-test results before the education session with post-test results after the education session. The results showed that the proportion of the community with good knowledge increased from 5.89% in the pre-test to 60% in post-test after the education and training were provided. These results demonstrate that the education and training methods were sufficiently effective in improving the community’s knowledge regarding clean and healthy living practices. Continuous education and training on clean and healthy living practices are a crucial solution to help the community recognize the importance of adopting such behaviors in their environment.

Waste management remains a persistent environmental challenge in many rural areas of Indonesia, including Saloloang Village, Penajam Paser Utara Regency. Although the community demonstrates strong social cohesion, the absence of structured and accessible educational media on waste segregation has limited the effectiveness of local environmental management efforts. This community service program aimed to enhance public awareness and promote proper waste segregation practices through the design, production, and installation of a bilingual educational board in the coastal area of the village. A descriptive participatory approach was employed, involving site observation, informal consultation with local stakeholders, content development based on visual communication principles, and collaborative implementation. The educational board presents clear information on organic and inorganic waste categories and incorporates an interactive convex mirror element to increase visual engagement and attract visitors’ attention. Observational findings after installation indicated positive responses from both residents and visitors, particularly school-aged children, who showed interest in reading and interacting with the board. The initiative demonstrates that integrating informative content with creative visual elements can strengthen environmental messaging in public spaces. However, the evaluation was limited to descriptive observations without quantitative measurement of behavioral change. The ownership of distribution permits for Fresh Food of Plant Origin produced by small enterprises (PSAT-PDUK) plays an important role in improving product legality, food safety, and market competitiveness. However, most small-scale business actors in Dumai City still face difficulties in obtaining distribution permits, particularly in understanding regulations, preparing required documents, and using the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. This community service program aimed to assist small business actors in the registration process of PSAT-PDUK based on the National Food Agency Regulation Number 10 of 2025. The implementation method applied a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach combined with technical mentoring through several stages, including regulatory socialization, document preparation workshops, OSS submission facilitation, and post-registration assistance. The target participants consisted of 15–20 small-scale fresh food business actors in Dumai City. The results showed a 68% increase in participants’ understanding of regulations and licensing procedures, indicated by the improvement of the average pre-test score from 42 to 81 in the post-test. All participants successfully prepared the required registration documents, improved product labeling designs, and obtained OSS accounts and Business Identification Numbers (NIB). A total of 15 business actors successfully submitted complete PSAT-PDUK registration applications to the Dumai City OKKPD, and most participants had obtained registration numbers by the end of the program. This mentoring program proved effective in improving the administrative capacity and digital literacy of small business actors while supporting the enhancement of legality, product quality, and market value of fresh food products in Dumai City

Pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani ‘Qila Tani’ melalui Hibah Trolley Sprayer Pestisida di Kabupaten Kampar

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Kelompok Tani "Qila Tani" di Desa Karya Indah, Kampar, melalui implementasi teknologi tepat guna berupa trolley sprayer pestisida mekanis. Program dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya efisiensi kerja penggunaan knapsack sprayer manual 16 liter, yang menyebabkan tingginya beban fisik dan lambatnya pengendalian hama. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi masalah, pelatihan teknis operasional dan perawatan (SOP), serta hibah alat. Pelatihan diikuti secara intensif oleh 7 orang peserta, mewakili 70% dari total anggota kelompok tani. Hasil evaluasi kuantitatif menunjukkan keberhasilan program yang signifikan dalam peningkatan kapasitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Rata-rata global kompetensi peserta meningkat sebesar 72%. Lonjakan tertinggi terjadi pada keterampilan operasional alat sebesar 92%, diikuti peningkatan pemahaman perawatan dan SOP sebesar 74%, serta prinsip kerja mesin sebesar 53%. Selain itu, secara teknis tercatat peningkatan kapasitas angkut pestisida hingga 70 liter dan percepatan waktu penyemprotan. Kesimpulannya, adopsi trolley sprayer terbukti efektif meningkatkan kompetensi SDM petani, menghilangkan beban kerja fisik, dan mempercepat transisi mekanisasi pertanian untuk mendukung produktivitas di Desa Karya Indah.
