PENDAMPINGAN PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM KINERJA PENGURUS BUMDES BERBASIS KPI DI DESA SAWAH

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to assist the management of BUMDes Maju Bersama in Sawah Village, Kampar Utara District, Kampar Regency, Riau, in developing a performance measurement system based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The activity was a continuation of previous assistance programs focusing on strengthening human resource capacity and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The assistance was conducted through a participatory approach involving discussion, identification of managerial duties, determination of performance indicators, preparation of a KPI matrix, and performance evaluation. Six indicators were used to measure management performance: target achievement, work quality, timeliness, administration and reporting, responsibility, and teamwork. Performance was measured using a five-point scale before and after the assistance. The results showed that the average performance score increased from 3.05 before the assistance to 4.09 after the assistance. Based on the unrounded scores, the increase was 34.15%. The largest increase occurred in administration and reporting, amounting to 42.86%, while responsibility obtained the highest post-assistance score of 4.30. The activity provided the BUMDes managers with a simpler and clearer framework for assessing work performance and identifying areas requiring improvement. The KPI instrument can subsequently be used as a periodic internal evaluation tool for BUMDes management
